Steve Sewell is an oil painter based in Wiltshire, United Kingdom. A former NHS doctor, he retired early in 2021. He is now able to fulfil his passion for painting, which he has had since childhood, but previously with little time to devote to it.

Steve paints a wide range of subjects, including people, animals, landscape and still life. He likes to see the beauty and pleasure in the everyday, whether it be the way light catches a tree or the enjoyment of sitting down for a drink at a café.

He works both in the studio and en plein air.

He enjoys painting the things that inspire him and also loves producing commissioned paintings.
